After spending a few days wandering in and out of the galleries, museums and boutiques of the old walled city and Getsemani, you may feel your creative juices start to flow. Don’t worry – there are plenty of art tours and classes that you can join. You can check out just a few of the options here. If you have any particular interests and would like to do a tour, please let us know and we can either send your our top recommendations or book the tour for you. Some classes can even be performed in our private villas.
One of the most popular tours that you can take is the Getsemani walking tour. Although free walking tours aren’t exactly free (they are tip-based), they are a great way to learn about Getsemani and the fabulous street art there (to learn more about the history of Getsemani, check out our article about it here!).
Cooking classes are also very popular. You can learn how to prepare ceviche, fish, seafood, coconut rice, patacones, and much more. The list is endless! Cooking classes usually last for 2-3 hours and can accommodate groups.
